About the Funny Bone
The Funny Bone is a national chain of comedy clubs that offers a full service restaurant and bar paired with some of the most nationally-recognized comedians on the circuit. Co-Founders Mitch Kutash and Gerald Kubach opened the first Funny Bone in Pittsburgh, PA, after Gerald became enthralled with a comedy show. More than 30 years later, The Funny Bone is in more than 25 markets and continues to expand.
The Funny Bone is also a recognized pioneer in accommodating diverse community needs. Examples include hosting numerous charitable functions, to being the gathering place for various corporate outings and meetings, to holding children’s comedy and magic shows, The Funny Bone Comedy Club and Restaurant has etched a permanent mark in comedic history.
We do not have a set dress code, but please bear in mind that we are a performance venue, so do not wear anything that will block the view of other patrons. Also, as a comedy club, we take no responsibility if a comedian makes fun of your outfit. We do not allow sunglasses to be worn in the building, hats must be bill facing forward and you must keep your shoes on at all times!
Photography, video recording, and audio recording is prohibited at all times in the venue other authorization is given by management.
Cell phones may not be used in the showroom area during the show, and once the lights have gone down. Texting, web surfing, email, phone calls etc are prohibited during the show. You are more than welcome to use your cell phone in the bar or lobby area at any time.
Admission Rules: You must be 21 or over for all shows, except the Wednesday 7:30pm, and Thursday 7:30pm, and the Friday 10:00pm those shows are 18 & over shows.
All shows are smoke FREE.
Reservations will be taken up to 2 hours prior to the showtime, after this time you must come directly to the box office window to purchase your tickets. When purchasing tickets the reservation name must match the picture ID of the person attending the show. The cardholder must sign the merchant copy. Remember to buy your tickets early. We recommend that you purchase or reserve your tickets in advance to guarantee your entry that night. We do fill up quickly!
Show times are subject to change! As a general rule, seating will begin one hour prior to show time for the first show of the evening. Seating will begin a half an hour prior to showtime for the second show of the evening. Seating time may also change, dependent upon the duration of the previous show. All seating is done on a first come, first sat basis. We will seat you as you arrive. Also, we will not hold seats for the other members of your party--if you want to sit together, you will need to enter together. We seat from the front of the room to the back, so if you want to sit in a specific area, arrive accordingly. Keep in mind, four people are seated per table, if you party is not a multiple of four, other guests may be seated with you. Our staff will do their best to accommodate your seating preferences- however, we can never guarantee a table to yourself or specific seats in the showroom.
All complimentary/promotional tickets must be picked up at least 45 minutes prior to showtime to be guaranteed. Complimentary/promotional tickets can NOT be redeemed without a prior reservation. If you are using a free pass, coupon or certificate of some kind you must have it present at the window to redeem your tickets. Empty Seats can not be held with free or promotional tickets. Please read your passes/coupons thoroughly as some restrictions do apply.
There is a two-item minimum purchase per person in our showroom. Food, drinks, and Funny Bone merchandise all count toward the two-item minimum, items purchased at the bar do not.
Please note that dinner is not included in the ticket price unless you purchase a Dinner Show Package.
You must bring a Valid Picture ID to be admitted.
All ticket sales are final; no credits, refunds, or exchanges once purchased.
Once you have made your reservation, you will need to pick up your tickets at the Box Office the night of the show.
Effective 02/23/16-There is a service charge added per ticket, for all tickets purchased over the web, over the phone, or in person at the Box Office.
If you have a promotion or pass for admission, make your reservations prior to the day of the show to avoid the $3.00 service fee per ticket.
The Dinner Show Package includes VIP seating, your first non-alcoholic beverage ( coffee, tea or soda ), your garden salad, choice of any entree, tax and gratuity. With this package, you are NOT required to purchase two items inside the showroom the night of the show.
The Late Night Laugh Package is an extremely discounted package that is only available for the 10pm shows on any Friday or Saturday that is NOT a Special Engagement Show. This packages includes VIP seating, an appetizer (excluding the appetizer sampler), a bucket of domestic beer, or a bottle of house wine. This package is $60.00 per couple plus the service fee. With this package, you are NOT required to purchase two items inside the showroom the night of the show.
